Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2recently saw the release of a remaster, with the major downside of the game’s re-release being the lack of its iconic multiplayer. With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered missing a major component of what made the game so popular, a group of determined fans have started to mod MW2’s multiplayer into Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
Based on the high sales of Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, players were clearly eager to play the fan-favorite campaign once again. However, there is no denying that plenty of gamers were disappointed by the lack of multiplayer in the remaster, and a group of modders have responded to the call for an updated version of the MW2 content. The mod project is led by a user named Gunoftruth and features 9 skilled team members, with the group rebuilding the Modern Warfare sequel’s multiplayer in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

The MW2 Multiplayer Remastered project began back in July, with the creators having been hard at work since the mod’s announcement. Aside from heavily updated visuals, the mod seems to keep the same feel as the original multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 based on the gameplay shown for the Rust map. Terminal is one of the maps being remastered for the mod as well, with 9 fan favorite locations set to come to the game at launch.
While the mod group has yet to discuss the other Modern Warfare 2 map remakes that will be part of the mod, the team did touch on the various changes that will be made to the online modes of the classic game. First, the overpowered One Man Army perk will be patched to remove the explosive replenishing exploit from the original MW2 multiplayer. Next, scopes will be 3D like they are in Modern Warfare: Remastered, and the Model 1887 will function like it did after it was patched in the original game. Lastly, Deathstreaks will also be returning, with grenade launchers unlikely to be nerfed on top of that.
While Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 adding Modern Warfare 2 weapons and maps to the game in the past, many fans are eager for the full experience as opposed to small pieces of the classic game. The mod team has clearly kept this in mind, as fan favorite weapons like the ACR and Intervention have been fully remade and retextured. Weapon inspections will be added as well, allowing fans to get a detailed view of the updated versions of the weapons. Hopefully, Activision does not shut down this player-created mod, as Gunoftruth’s group seems to be putting an incredible amount of work into its development. The only downside of the project is that console players will not have access to the content, as a modded version of Black Ops 3 on PC is being used to make the game.

Mar 30, 2017 As a central log server, the syslog-ng image exposes three different ports, where it can receive log messages: Syslog UDP: 514. Syslog TCP: 601. Syslog TLS: 6514. To be able to use them, you need to enable these ports both in the syslog-ng configuration (syslog-ng.conf) and in the command line starting the Docker container. Syslog: Sends logging messages to the syslog process of the host. The syslog daemon has to be running on the host. Journald: Sends log messages to the journald process of the host. The journald daemon must be running on the host. Fluentd: Sends log messages to fluentd process of the host. As ususual, the fluentd daemon must be running on the host.
When building containerized applications, logging is definitely one of the most important things to get right from a DevOps standpoint. Log management helps DevOps teams debug and troubleshoot issues faster, making it easier to identify patterns, spot bugs, and make sure they don’t come back to bite you!
In this article, we’ll refer to Docker logging in terms of container logging, meaning logs that are generated by containers. These logs are specific to Docker and are stored on the Docker host. Later on, we’ll check out Docker daemon logs as well. These are the logs that are generated by Docker itself. You will need those to debug errors in the Docker engine.Docker Logging: Why Are Logs Important When Using Docker
The importance of logging applies to a much larger extent to Dockerized applications. When an application in a Docker container emits logs, they are sent to the application’s stdout and stderr output streams.
The container’s logging driver can access these streams and send the logs to a file, a log collector running on the host, or a log management service endpoint.
By default, Docker uses a json-file driver, which writes JSON-formatted logs to a container-specific file on the host where the container is running. More about this in the section below called “What’s a Logging Driver?”
The example below shows JSON logs created using the json-file driver:
If that wasn’t complicated enough, you have to deal with Docker daemon logs and host logs apart from container logs. All of them are vital in troubleshooting errors and issues when using Docker.

Before moving on, let’s go over the basics.What Is a Docker Container
A container is a unit of software that packages an application, making it easy to deploy and manage no matter the host. Say goodbye to the infamous “it works on my machine” statement!
How? Containers are isolated and stateless, which enables them to behave the same regardless of the differences in infrastructure. A Docker container is a runtime instance of an image that’s like a template for creating the environment you want.What Is a Docker Image?

Containers allow breaking down applications into microservices – multiple small parts of the app that can interact with each other via functional APIs. Each microservice is responsible for a single feature so development teams can work on different parts of the application at the same time. Most conventional log analysis methods don’t work on containerized logging – troubleshooting becomes more complex compared to traditional hardware-centric apps that run on a single node and need less troubleshooting. You need more data to work with so you must extend your search to get to the root of the problem.
Here’s why:Containers are Ephemeral
Docker containers emit logs to the stdout and stderr output streams. Because containers are stateless, the logs are stored on the Docker host in JSON files by default. Why?
The default logging driver is json-file. The logs are then annotated with the log origin, either stdout or stderr, and a timestamp. Each log file contains information about only one container.
You can find these JSON log files in the /var/lib/docker/containers/ directory on a Linux Docker host. Here’s how you can access them:
That’s where logging comes into play. You can collect the logs with a log aggregator and store them in a place where they’ll be available forever. It’s dangerous to keep logs on the Docker host because they can build up over time and eat into your disk space. That’s why you should use a central location for your logs and enable log rotation for your Docker containers.Containers are Multi-Tiered
This is one of the biggest challenges to Docker logging. However basic your Docker installation is, you will have to work with two levels of aggregation. One refers to the logs from the Dockerized application inside the container. The other involves the logs from the host servers, which consist of the system logs, as well as the Docker Daemon logs which are usually located in /var/log or a subdirectory within this directory.
A simple log aggregator that has access to the host can’t just pull application log files as if they were host log files. Instead, it must be able to access the file system inside the container to collect the logs. Furthermore, your infrastructure will, inevitably, extend to more containers and you’ll need to find a way to correlate log events to processes rather than their respective containers.Docker Logging Strategies and Best Practices
Needless to say, logging in Docker could be challenging. But there are a few best practices to have in mind when working with containerized apps.Logging via Application
This technique means that the application inside the containers handles its own logging using a logging framework. For example, a Java app could use a Log4j2 to format and send the logs from the app to a remote centralized location skipping both Docker and the OS.
On the plus side, this approach gives developers the most control over the logging event. However, it creates extra load on the application process. If the logging framework is limited to the container itself, considering the transient nature of containers, any logs stored in the container’s filesystem will be wiped out if the container is terminated or shut down.
To keep your data, you’ll have to either configure persistent storage or forward logs to a remote destination like a log management solution such as Elastic Stack or Sematext Cloud. Furthermore, application-based logging becomes difficult when deploying multiple identical containers, since you would need to find a way to tell which log belongs to which container.Logging Using Data Volumes
As we’ve mentioned above, one way to work around containers being stateless when logging is to use data volumes.
With this approach you create a directory inside your container that links to a directory on the host machine where long-term or commonly-shared data will be stored regardless of what happens to your container. Now, you can make copies, perform backups, and access logs from other containers.
You can also share volume across multiple containers. But on the downside, using data volumes make it difficult to move the containers to different hosts without any loss of data.Logging Using the Docker Logging Driver
Another option to logging when working with Docker, is to use logging drivers. Unlike data volumes, the Docker logging driver reads data directly from the container’s stdout and stderr output. The default configuration writes logs to a file on the host machine, but changing the logging driver will allow you to forward events to syslog, gelf, journald, and other endpoints.
Since containers will no longer need to write to and read from log files, you’ll likely notice improvements in terms of performance. However, there are a few disadvantages of using this approach as well: Docker log commands work only with the json-file log driver; the log driver has limited functionality, allowing only log shipping without parsing; and containers shut down when the TCP server becomes unreachable.Logging Using a Dedicated Logging Container
Another solution is to have a container dedicated solely to logging and collecting logs, which makes it a better fit for the microservices architecture. The main advantage of this approach is that it doesn’t depend on a host machine. Instead, the dedicated logging container allows you to manage log files within the Docker environment. It will automatically aggregate logs from other containers, monitor, analyze, and store or forward them to a central location.
This logging approach makes it easier to move containers between hosts and scale your logging infrastructure by simply adding new logging containers. At the same time, it enables you to collect logs through various streams of log events, Docker API data, and stats.
This is the approach we suggest you should use. You can set up Logagent as a dedicated logging container and have all Docker logs ship to Sematext Logs in under a few minutes as explained a bit further down.Logging Using the Sidecar Approach
For larger and more complex deployments, using a sidecar is among the most popular approaches to logging microservices architectures.
Similarly to the dedicated container solution, it uses logging containers. The difference is that this time, each application container has its own dedicated container, allowing you to customize each app’s logging solution. The first container saves log files to a volume which are then tagged and shipped by the logging container to a third-party log management solution.
One of the main advantages of using sidecars is that it allows you to set up additional custom tags to each log, making it easier for you to identify their origin.
There are some drawbacks, however – it can be complex and difficult to set up and scale, and it can require more resources than the dedicated logging method. You must ensure that both application container and sidecar container are working as a single unit, otherwise, you might end up losing data.Get Started with Docker Container Logs
When you’re using Docker, you work with two different types of logs: daemon logs and container logs.What Are Docker Container Logs?
Docker container logs are generated by the Docker containers. They need to be collected directly from the containers. Any messages that a container sends to stdout or stderr is logged then passed on to a logging driver that forwards them to a remote destination of your choosing.
Here are a few basic Docker commands to help you get started with Docker logs and metrics:
*Show container logs: docker logs containerName

*Show CPU and memory usage: docker stats
*Show CPU and memory usage for specific containers: docker stats containerName1 containerName2

Watching logs in the console is nice for development and debugging, however in production you want to store the logs in a central location for search, analysis, troubleshooting and alerting.What Is a Logging Driver?
Logging drivers are Docker’s mechanisms for gathering data from running containers and services to make it available for analysis. Whenever a new container is created, Docker automatically provides the json-file log driver if no other log driver option has been specified. At the same time, it allows you to implement and use logging driver plugins if you would like to integrate other logging tools.
Here’s an example of how to run a container with a custom logging driver, in this case syslog:How to Configure the Docker Logging Driver?
When it comes to configuring the logging driver, you have two options:
*setup a default logging driver for all containers
*specify a logging driver for each container
In the first case, the default logging driver is a JSON file, but, as mentioned above, you have many other options such as logagent, syslog, fluentd, journald, splunk, etc. You can switch to another logging driver by editing the Docker configuration file and changing the log-driver parameter, or using your preferred log shipper.
Alternatively, you can choose to configure a logging driver on a per-container basis. As Docker provides a default logging driver when you start a new container, you need to specify the new driver from the very beginning by using the -log-driver and -log-opt parameters.Where Are Docker Logs Stored By Default?
The logging driver enables you to choose how and where to ship your data. The default logging driver as I mentioned above is a JSON file located on the local disk of your Docker host:
Have in mind, though, that when you use another logging driver than json-file or journald you will not find any log files on your disk. Docker will send the logs over the network without storing any local copies. This is risky if you ever have to deal with network issues.
In some cases Docker might even stop your container, when the logging driver fails to ship the logs. This issue might happen depending on what delivery mode you are using.

Docker containers can write logs by using either the blocking or non-blocking delivery mode. The mode you choose will determine how the container prioritizes logging operations relative to its other tasks.Direct/Blocking
Blocking is Docker’s default mode. It will interrupt the application each time it needs to deliver a message to the driver.
It makes sure all messages are sent to the driver, but can introduce latency in the performance of your application. if the logging driver is busy, the container delays the application’s other tasks until it has delivered the message.
Depending on the logging driver you use, the latency differs. The default json-file driver writes logs very quickly since it writes to the local filesystem, so it’s unlikely to block and cause latency. However, log drivers that need to open a connection to a remote server can block for longer periods and cause noticeable latency.
That’s why we suggest you use the json-file driver and blocking mode with a dedicated logging container to get the most of your log management setup. Luckily it’s the default log driver setup, so you don’t need to configure anything in the /etc/docker/daemon.json file.Non-blocking
In non-blocking mode, a container first writes its logs to an in-memory ring buffer, where they’re stored until the logging driver is available to process them. Even if the driver is busy, the container can immediately hand off application output to the ring buffer and resume executing the application. This ensures that a high volume of logging activity won’t affect the performance of the application running in the container.
When running in non-blocking mode, the container writes logs to an in-memory ring buffer. The logs are stored in the ring-buffer until it’s full. Only then is the log shipped. Even if the driver is unavailable, the container sends logs to the ring buffer and continues executing the application. This ensures high volume of logging without impacting performance. But there are downsides.
Non-blocking mode does not guarantee that the logging driver will log all the events. If the buffer runs out of space, buffered logs will be deleted before they are sent. You can use the max-buffer-size option to set the amount of RAM used by the ring buffer. The default value for max-buffer-size is 1 MB, but if you have more RAM available, increasing the buffer size can increase the reliability of your container’s logging.
Although blocking mode is Docker’s default for new containers, you can set this to non-blocking mode by adding a log-opts item to Docker’s daemon.json file.
Alternatively, you can set non-blocking mode on an individual container by using the --log-opt option in the command that creates the container:Logging Driver Options
The log file format for the json-file logging driver is machine readable JSON format with a timestamp, stream name and the log message. Therefore users prefer the docker logs command to see the logs on their console.
On the other hand the machine readable log format is a good base for log shippers to ship the logs to log management platforms, where you can search, visualise and alert on log data.
However, you have other log driver options as follows:
*logagent: A general purpose log shipper. The Logagent Docker image is pre-configured for log collection on container platforms. Logagent collects not only logs, it also adds meta-data such as image name, container id, container name, Swarm service or Kubernetes meta-data to all logs. Plus it handles multiline logs and can parse container logs.
*syslog: Ships log data to a syslog server. This is a popular option for logging applications.
*journald: Sends container logs to the systemd journal.
*fluentd: Sends log messages to the Fluentd collector as structured data.
*elf: Writes container logs to a Graylog Extended Log Format (GELF) endpoint such as Graylog or Logstash.
*awslogs: Sends log messages to AWS CloudWatch Logs.
*splunk: Writes log messages to Splunk using HTTP Event Collector (HEC).
*cplogs: Ships log data to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Logging.
*logentries: Writes container logs to Rapid7 Logentries.
*etwlogs: Writes log messages as Event Tracing for Windows (ETW) events, thus only available on Windows platforms.Use the json-file Log Driver With a Log Shipper Container
The most reliable and convenient way of log collection is to use the json-file driver and set up a log shipper to ship the logs. You always have a local copy of logs on your server and you get the advantage of centralized log management.
If you were to use Sematext Logagent there are a few simple steps to follow in order to start sending logs to Sematext. After creating a Logs App, run these commands in a terminal.

Docker has a dedicated command which lists container logs. The docker logs command. The flow will usually involve you checking your running containers with docker ps, then check the logs by using a container’s ID.

What you’ll end up doing will be tailing these logs, either to check the last N number of lines or tailing the logs in real time.

The best time to cry is at night, when the lights are out and someone is being beaten up and screaming for help. That way even if you sniffle a little they won’t hear you. If anybody knows that you are crying, they’ll start talking about it and soon it’ll be your turn to get beat up when the lights go out.
There is a mirror over the steel sink in my cell. It’s six inches high, and scratched with the names of some guys who were here before me. When I look into the small rectangle, I see a face looking back at me but I don’t recognize it. It doesn’t look like me. I couldn’t have changed that much in a few months. I wonder if I will look like myself when the trial is over.
This morning at breakfast a guy got hit in the face with a tray. Somebody said some little thing and somebody else got mad. There was blood all over the place.
When the guards came over, they made us line up against the wall. The guy who was hit they made sit at the table while they waited for another guard to bring them rubber gloves. When the gloves came, the guards put them on, handcuffed the guy, and then took him to the dispensary. He was still bleeding pretty bad.
They say you get used to being in jail, but I don’t see how. Every morning I wake up and I am surprised to be here. If your life outside was real, then everything in here is just the opposite. We sleep with strangers, wake up with strangers, and go to the bathroom in front of strangers. They’re strangers but they still find reasons to hurt each other.
Sometimes I feel like I have walked into the middle of a movie. It is a strange movie with no plot and no beginning. The movie is in black and white, and grainy. Sometimes the camera moves in so close that you can’t tell what is going on and you just listen to the sounds and guess. I have seen movies of prisons but never one like this. This is not a movie about bars and locked doors. It is about being alone when you are not really alone and about being scared all the time.
I think to get used to this I will have to give up what I think is real and take up something else. I wish I could make sense of it.
Maybe I could make my own movie. I could write it out and play it in my head. I could block out the scenes like we did in school. The film will be the story of my life. No, not my life, but of this experience. I’ll write it down in the notebook they let me keep. I’ll call it what the lady who is the prosecutor called me.

FADE IN: INTERIOR: Early morning in CELL BLOCK D, MANHATTAN DETENTION CENTER. Camera goes slowly down grim, gray corridor. There are sounds of inmates yelling from cell to cell; much of it is obscene. Most of the voices are clearly Black or Hispanic. Camera stops and slowly turns toward a cell.
INTERIOR: CELL. Sixteen-year-old STEVE HARMON is sitting on the edge of a metal cot, head in hands. He is thin, brown skinned. On the cot next to him are the suit and tie he is to wear to court for the start of his trial.
CUT TO: ERNIE, another prisoner, sitting on john, pants down.
CUT TO: SUNSET, another prisoner, pulling on T-shirt.
CUT TO: STEVE pulling blanket over his head as screen goes dark.
VOICE-OVER (VO)
Ain’t no use putting the blanket over your head, man. You can’t cut this out; this is reality. This is the real deal.
VO continues with anonymous PRISONER explaining how the Detention Center is the real thing. As he does, words appear on the screen, just like the opening credits of the movie Star Wars, rolling from the bottom of the screen and shrinking until they are a blur on the top of the screen before rolling off into space.

STEVE (subdued)
I’m not hungry.
SUNSET
His trial starts today. He up for the big one. I know how that feels.
CUT TO: INTERIOR: CORRECTIONS DEPT. VAN. Through the bars at the rear of the van, we see people going about the business of their lives in downtown New York. There are men collecting garbage, a female traffic officer motioning for a taxi to make a turn, students on the way to school. Few people notice the van as it makes its way from the DETENTION CENTER to the COURTHOUSE.
CUT TO: PRISONERS, handcuffed, coming from back of van. STEVE is carrying a notebook. He is dressed in the suit and tie we saw on the cot. He is seen only briefly as he is herded through the heavy doors of the courthouse.
FADE OUT as last prisoner from the van enters rear of courthouse.
FADE IN: INTERIOR COURTHOUSE. We are in a small room used for prisoner-lawyer interviews. A guard sits at a desk behind STEVE.
KATHY O’BRIEN, STEVE’s lawyer, is petite, red-haired, and freckled. She is all business as she talks to STEVE.
O’BRIEN
Let me make sure you understand what’s going on. Both you and this King character are on trial for felony murder. Felony murder is as serious as it gets. Sandra Petrocelli is the prosecutor, and she’s good. They’re pushing for the death penalty, which is really bad. The jury might think they’re doing you a big favor by giving you life in prison. So you’d better take this trial very, very seriously.
When you’re in court, you sit there and you pay attention. You let the jury know that you think the case is as serious as they do. You don’t turn and wave to any of your friends. It’s all right to acknowledge your mother.
I have to go and talk to the judge. The trial will begin in a few minutes. Is there anything you want to ask me before it starts?
STEVE

> You think we’re going to win?
O’BRIEN (seriously)
It probably depends on what you mean by “win.”
CUT TO: INTERIOR: HOLDING ROOM. We see STEVE sitting at one end of bench. Against the opposite wall, dressed in a sloppy-looking suit, is 23-year-old JAMES KING, the other man on trial. KING looks older than 23. He looks over at STEVE with a hard look and we see STEVE look away. Two GUARDS sit at a table away from the prisoners, who are handcuffed. The camera finds the GUARDS in a MEDIUM SHOT (MS). They have their breakfast in aluminum take-out trays that contain eggs, sausages, and potatoes. A Black female STENOGRAPHER pours coffee for herself and the GUARDS.
STENOGRAPHER
I hope this case lasts two weeks. I can sure use the money.
GUARD 1
Six days—maybe seven. It’s a motion case. They go through the motions; then they lock them up.
(Turns and looks off camera toward STEVE.)
Ain’t that right, bright eyes?
CUT TO: STEVE, who is seated on a low bench. He is handcuffed to a U-bolt put in the bench for that purpose. STEVE looks away from the GUARD.
CUT TO: DOOR. It opens, and COURT CLERK looks in.
COURT CLERK
Two minutes!
CUT TO: GUARDS, who hurriedly finish breakfast. STENOGRAPHER takes machine into COURTROOM. They unshackle STEVE and take him toward door.
CUT TO: STEVE is made to sit down at one table. At another table we see KING and two attorneys. STEVE sits alone. A guard stands behind him. There are one or two spectators in the court. Then four more enter.
CLOSE-UP (CU) of STEVE HARMON. The fear is evident on his face.
MS: People are getting ready for the trial to begin. KATHY O’BRIEN sits next to STEVE.
O’BRIEN
How are you doing?
STEVE
I’m scared.
O’BRIEN
Good; you should be. Anyway, just remember what we’ve been talking about. The judge is going to rule on a motion that King’s lawyer made to suppress Cruz’s testimony, and a few other things. Steve, let me tell you what my job is here. My job is to make sure the law works for you as well as against you, and to make you a human being in the eyes of the jury. Your job is to help me. Any questions you have, write them down and I’ll try to answer them. What are you doing there?
STEVE
I’m writing this whole thing down as a movie.
O’BRIEN
Whatever. Make sure you pay attention. Close attention.
VO (COURT GUARD)
All rise.
The JUDGE enters and sits behind bench. He is tall and thin. He pushes his fingers through wisps of white hair and looks over the COURTROOM before sitting. He is a 60-year-old New York judge and already looks bored with the case. The COURT GUARD signals for people to sit.
JUDGE
Prosecution ready?
SANDRA PETROCELLI, the prosecutor, stands. She is dressed in a gray business suit. She looks intense while still being attractive. Her hair and eyes are dark.
PETROCELLI
Ready, Your Honor.
JUDGE
Defense?
ASA BRIGGS, the lead counsel for the defense of JAMES KING, stands. He is dressed in a dark-blue suit and a light-blue tie. His eyes are also blue, and his hair is white.
BRIGGS
Ready.
O’BRIEN
Ready, Your Honor.
JUDGE
All right. I’m ruling the kid’s testimony is admissible. You can bring up your motions relative to that ruling this afternoon or if there’s a break. Hope everyone had a good Fourth of July?
BRIGGS
The usual barbecue and a softball game that reminded me that I can’t run anymore.
O’BRIEN
With all the fireworks, it’s my least favorite holiday.
JUDGE
Bring in the jury.
CUT TO: FILM WORKSHOP at Stuyvesant High School. A film on a small screen is just ending. It is a class project, and the camera is shaky. We watch as a girl on the screen walks slowly away. Screen goes black, then dazzling white, then normal as lights go on.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Sandra Petrocelli and I’m an Assistant District Attorney for the State of New York. I am representing the people in this matter, which you were informed during jury selection is a case of felony murder. We’re here today basically because this is not a perfect world. The founding fathers of our country understood this. They knew that there would be times and circumstances during which our society would be threatened by the acts of individuals. This is one of those times. A citizen of our city, a citizen of our state and country, has been killed by people who attempted to rob him. To safeguard our society, a system of laws has been created. You, the jury, are part of this system of laws. I represent the State of New York and I am part of that system, as are the judge and all the participants in this trial. I will do my best to bring you the facts of this case, and I know you will do your best to judge the merits of the case.
Most people in our community are decent, hardworking citizens who pursue their own interests legally and without infringing on the rights of others. But there are also monsters in our communities—people who are willing to steal and to kill, people who disregard the rights of others.
On the 22nd of December of last year, at approximately 4 o’clock in the afternoon, 2 men entered a drugstore on 145th Street in Harlem. The State will contend that one of those men was Richard “Bobo” Evans. The State will contend that the other man who entered the store at that time, and who participated in the robbery and the murder, was James King.
PETROCELLI points to the table at which JAMES KING sits.
Mr. King is the man sitting at that table who is wearing a brown suit and is sitting at the right of the table. You were introduced to him during the jury selection process. He is one of the men on trial here today. The purpose of the 2 men entering the store on that Monday was very simple. They were going to rob the owner, 55-year-old Alguinaldo Nesbitt. We will show that although the 2 men did not have a gun with them, the owner of the store did have a gun for which he had a license, and produced it to defend his property.
Mr. Evans, who participated in the robbery, will testify that there was a struggle, which resulted in the gun being discharged and Mr. Nesbitt being killed. Mr. Nesbitt had every right to defend his property, every right not to be robbed. We all have that right.
Further, there will be evidence that prior to the robbery there was a plan, or conspiracy, to rob the store. Mr. Evans and Mr. King were to enter the store and do the actual robbery. Another of the planners of this crime was to stand outside the drugstore and impede anyone chasing the robbers. The young man who had this assignment will testify to his role in the affair. Yet another of the conspirators, the planners of this robbery that left a man dead,
was to go into the store prior to the robbery to check it out, to make sure that there were no police in the store. To make sure that the coast was clear, as they say.
Two of the conspirators will testify to their understanding of this fact. The man who was to enter the store and check it out is sitting at the other table. His name is Steven Harmon.

While we all are waiting for any news on the next DLC (or probably Cities Skylines 2 as some rumors suggest) I decided to review the latest existing expansion for the game – Cities Skylines Campus.

This expansion is focused on Cities Skylines education. Players get much more options in regards to universities, education becomes a meaningful of both the social life of your city and its actual layout.
Campus Areas
Developers used the well-known approach similar to Parklife and Industries – you zone areas of university campuses (there are 3 types of those – University, Trade School, Liberal Arts College) that have different specialization, place buildings of the 1st level and then as your campus develops you unlock more and more buildings for the campus (20+ per each type of campuses). This is a simple but working approach because the good video game is the one where the player constantly has goals. And developing your campus, getting more specialists to work in your city, adjusting your city layout and transport and expanding the campus area with new buildings are really exciting activities.

An important difference with parks from Parklife DLC is that you can’t place objects inherent for one type of campus to the zone of another type of campus. Well, that’s probably good because each type of campuses has its own architectural style so mixing them may be not the best idea.

Another interesting thing is that this time specialized campus areas may degrade if you somehow lose the factors that allowed to level them up (e.g. the number of students has decreased).

But campus areas aren’t the only new feature in this DLC.
Academic worksCities Skylines Campus Life
Basically, that’s a tangible representation of how successful this or that university is. At the end of each academy year, each of your universities has a 30% chance to create 1-4 academy works (one per 500 students, 4 is maximum). You can influence these chances by building special laboratories and hiring academic staff. As an alternative, you can pay 50k to get a guaranteed academy work.

These academy works allow you to level up your campus areas.
Museums
Sure you want to show your academy works to your citizen. That’s why you need one of three museums (The Technology Museum, The Art Gallery, The Science Center). These buildings attract visitors and increase Entertainment. But keep in mind that you need level 5 campus area (aka Prestigious) to unlock museums.Faculties
We’ve got a set of unique buildings called faculties. Their role is to increase Cities Skylines university campus attractiveness and to add some bonuses to your city. For example, a police academy increases jail capacity, the number of police cars, and police efficiency. Sure you need to pay for everything – this building costs 75k.Libraries and Policies
That’s not the DLC but a patch 1.12.0 which was released to support the DLC but anyway. You’re getting Public Library and Academic Library – buildings that upgrade the educational level of your citizens.

Also, we’ve received new policies to support new educational features.University Sports
With this DLC you get another thing to manage – varsity sports. You have to build a stadium for one of the available kinds of sports (football, basketball, baseball, track & field, swimming) within the borders of your campus. This increases the popularity of this educational establishment but adds some headache to you – from now on you should hire staff, manage prices for tickets and even choose the uniform color for the team. This expansion adds a great portion of great atmosphere to your gaming – you will see the graduation parties and matches between your varsity teams and other teams, you can even place a yellow school bus to some bus lines in your city (and I always have bus lines to deliver people to educational establishments). Let’s start with how the new campus areas and educational establishments work with the good old Cities Skylines university. Well, people still go to this university and their choice still depends on the way they can get there.

Total War: Shogun 2 has been out for seven months now. While the subject matter has not pleased all fans of the franchise, this latest iteration of the Total War series has gathered praise from critics and the public alike. With comments such as “with a smaller scale and tighter focus, boasts the best gameplay and design of any entry in the franchise” and “the ideal example of evolution trumping revolution”, Shogun 2 proves that a company doesn’t always have to make huge changes in a game to create a great addition to the series.
Of course, these days there’s barely a single commercial game released that doesn’t end up having some sort of downloadable content being released for it, and Shogun 2 is no exception. Since it’s release, Shogun 2 has received 3 DLC packs, the Ikko Ikki Clan pack, the Sengoku Jidai Unit pack, and the Rise of the Samurai Campaign pack. What do these packs contain, are they any good, and are they worth the price? Let’s take a look.
The Ikko Ikki Clan Pack $4.99
The Ikko Ikki clan pack adds warrior monks to Shogun 2 as a new, playable clan, thus taking the playable factions in game to a total of ten, if you have the limited edition, or nine if you just have the standard edition. It includes everything needed for the faction : 8 faction specific units, faction specific skill trees, and the Ikko Ikki monk unit.
In addition, you also get the Warrior Nun unit, which can be trained by all clans except Ikko Ikki, a new Naginata Warrior Monk Hero, the new Historical Battle of Nagashima of 1574, and finally new Ikko Ikki armor and retainers for Avatar mode.
As a DLC pack, the Ikko Ikki pack is not huge, but at the same time it is not expensive either. It adds a whole new clan to play with and some minor additions for the other clans, so basically your paying a small amount to extend the play-life of Shogun 2. If you’re still enjoying the game but are getting bored of the other clans, the Ikko Ikki pack is well worth getting.
The Sengoku Jidai Unit Pack$3.25 Total War: Shogun 2 - The Ikko Ikki Clan Packets
The Sengoku Jidai unit pack adds, surprisingly enough, new units to your Shogun 2 game. You get ten new elite units, however they are faction specific so you will not be able to try them all out in one game or battle. The units are :
*Daikyu Samurai – Chosokabe clan : Expert archers
*Fire Cavalry – Takeda clan : Expert cavalry (no, they do not burst into flames)
*Long-Yari Ashigaru – Oda clan : Pike-like spearmen
*Bandit – Hattori clan : Similar to a weak ninja unit
*Mounted Gunner – Tokugawa clan : Matchlock wielding cavalry
*Wako Raider – Mori clan : Similar to the bandit unit above
*Heavy Gunner – Shimazu clan : heavy matchlock wielding foot
*Hand Mortar – Hojo clan : Indirect fire unit.
*Marathon Monk – Uesugi or Ikko Ikki clan : Strong melee unit
*Bulletproof Samurai unit – Date clan : Samurai with bulletproof armor (apparently kevlar was common back then)
The diversity of units available in the standard game and the other two expansions has been well and truly enough up until now. However there are many who complain about the lack of diversity for Shogun fans, so for those fans this pack may be a welcome edition. That said, at such a low cost there’s little reason not to get it if you want your Shogun 2 to be complete.
The Rise of the Samurai Campaign$9.99
The Rise of the Samurai Campaign DLC is the most expensive of all the DLC packs, but it’s also the largest. It includes a new campaign covering the Gempei War, set 400 years before the Vanilla campaign. It includes 3 new families divided into 6 clans, with new agents and units for every clan. Basically every clan, unit and building has been changed to reflect the earlier period. Gameplay has also had some major alterations applied to it, such as the removal of religion to be replaced by clan allegiance, (although they both have the same effect). In addition the AI has been much improved.
How much improved is the AI in Rise of the Samurai? In short, dramatically so, especially the battle AI. In my very first battle, I found the AI trying to entice me into it’s very own Japanese Cannae. For those uninitiated in military history, the Battle of Cannae was a famous battle in which a Roman army was destroyed when their Carthaginian enemies retreated the units in the center of their battle line, thus enticing the Romans to pursue and enabling them to be surrounded and destroyed. In my battle the AI sent units almost right up to the units in the center of my line, and then pulled them back when I sent my own units forward to attempt to engage.Total War: Shogun 2 - The Ikko Ikki Clan Pack List
I sat in shocked delight as I watched the enemies center retreat while his flank continued advancing, and had to react swiftly to reform my line before the AI caught my entire force out of order. For Total War veterans, that sort of AI reaction is a wonderful thing to see.
As an add-on, Rise of the Samurai is terrific value for money. It adds a whole new campaign with all the new content that goes with it – in effect, almost creating a whole new game. Indeed, Sega and Creative Assembly sold Napoleon Total War as a whole new game when many fans claimed it should have just been an expansion to Empire Total War, and they could just have easily done the same thing here with Rise of the Samurai. It’s to their credit that this time they appeared to have listened to their fans and released this as DLC. Of course, the more cynical among us may be inclined to note that while Napoleon could be marketed as a separate game without looking like a blatant cash grab, Rise of the Samurai most likely could not be.
Regardless, it’s still great value for money and a wonderful addition to Shogun 2.

Creative Assembly has a long history of releasing new content for every Total War game they release, whether it be as expansion packs or in the modern DLC form. Shogun 2 is no exception, and the DLC packs released so far for it are great value and are worthwhile additions for any fan. They add a lot of new content and make some interesting and fun changes to the game. It’s a sad fact that the game itself is now down to $29.99 on steam, while the combined cost of all the add-ons is $18.23, so it wouldn’t take more than another reduction in price or another DLC pack to be released before we find it costs the same to buy the game as to buy all the DLC. Creative Assembly have stated on official forums that there will be more DLC packs to come in the future for Shogun 2, so we can probably expect to see that sort of situation before too long. Hopefully the content and value will continue to impress as much as that which has come so far.

Mimpi is a lazy dog who naps and dreams a lot. In his dreams though he becomes a super dog, and answer pleas of animals in need. Mimpi wastes no time in acting the hero to help everyone, and you get to be his sidekick in his dreams. You manipulate his dreams by moving obstacles and making way for him. There are five different worlds to play in Mimpi Dreams: Tesla Landscape, Medieval Castle, Stoneface Forest, Fairytale and Bottle Seaside. The gameplay is a combination of adventure, puzzle solving and platform gaming. You can move Mimpi back and forth in his dream by tapping on right and left arrow buttons on bottom left, and jump on platforms by tapping on up arrow on bottom right. You’ll also need to stop and turn levers and knobs, and move things around to solve puzzles, and help Mimpi move forward. While you’re at it, collect all the dog treats and light bulbs you see on the way. Light bulbs will give you hints on how to solve a puzzle to move forward. Each hint will cost a light bulb, so make sure you collect them all. Unlike other free to play games, you don’t opt for in-app purchases to have access to supreme riches. In Mimpi Dreams, you opt for in-app purchases to have access to real game because only a challenge mode is available for free. In this challenge mode, players can go on as far as they can in a single life without being able to mark their territory. On purchasing, player gets access to unlimited lives, and Mimpi also mark his territory on checkpoints to start over from these points when he loses a life. This has a very cute but short story, and I love the art! It is very cute and there are some mysteries to unlock, such as the Easter Eggs on each level! There are multiple skins to unlock, and there is even a Challenge Mode, where you make it through as many levels as possible with ONE LIFE! Really fun game!Not many ads,and its adorable!the problem is the cave part,where you have to put the gem in the eye,it wont work,saw a play through to see what I was doing it wrong,but when I did what the person did,it didn’t work.I dont know if this happens to everyone else but could you fix it?
I’ve played this game more than once and I love it every time. Simple controls and it doesn’t force you to buy anything. You can just collect the lightbulbs if you need hints and I think that’s nice. I don’t have enough space to play the original Mimpi game so this is a nice alternative.
This was a really great game I did In fact play the first mimpi game so I got this one after I Finnished the first one and honestly this one was a little easier then the first one I didn’t have to look up a tutorial once for it but it also was shorter then the original as well I was in fact playing for free and there are 2 world’s you have to pay for in the end but what I got for free wasn’t bad I would recommend this to maybe younger children though because of the simplicity of it
